


For MY23 Mercedes Benz plans to expand its lineup of the EQ family, it has introduced several new models and some new variants of the existing models. Mercedes Benz has also revealed the launch details for its EQ lineup of all electric vehicles and it seems 2023 will be a busy year for Mercedes with so many exciting launches lined up.
The EQS Sedan was already present in the U.S markets and the production of EQS SUV has already begun in Alabama. A new EQS 450 4MATIC Sedan has been added to the existing EQS 450+ and EQS 580 4MATIC set of EQS sedan models and the EQS SUV will also be offered in EQS 450+SUV, EQS 450 4MATIC SUV and EQS 580 4MATIC SUV variants. Similarly for the EQE Sedan, an EQE 350 4MATIC model has been added to the line-up for MY23, which will join the EQE 350+ and EQE 500 4MATIC models.
The newest and most affordable entrant to the Mercedes-EQ Brand for MY23 is EQB 250+ SUV. It will join the EQ lineup as a long range variant with an estimated EPA range of 250 miles. For a variety of transport needs it will come with an optional seven-seat configuration.
The most exciting launch for MY23 is an AMG version of the EQE sedan, which is in line with the company’s vision of AMG EQS. Company has not commented anything about the specifications of the AMG sedan but as we know it will be a performance focused product.
As per the official statement, the EQS sedan & SUV, the EQE sedan, the EQB SUV and the AMG EQE & EQS Sedan will all arrive at U.S dealerships in late 2022. The prices for newly launched EQS SUV, EQE sedan and the AMG versions have not been disclosed yet but we can expect the prices to be announced nearer to the launch. However the MSRP for EQB SUV starts at $52,400. Pricing of the models will be crucial in order to qualify for federal tax credits because the threshold on MSRP is $80k for SUVs and $55k for cars.
